RISE Men’s Conference is a call to action for men to live as God has made them so they can rise up to serve their families and communities. The event will focus on the importance of living as a godly man for the present and how faithful manhood blesses future generations.
This half-day conference will provide an opportunity for community, learning, and personal growth while addressing various aspects of living as a godly man, including faith, family, health, and finances.
Breakout sessions following teaching sessions will give attendees time to build friendships and discuss the content. Following the event, attendees can connect with existing groups at Grace Church or form a group to continue walking in community.
Juan Ortiz is a man who has discovered the blessings in adversity. As the eldest of six children, Juan grew up in a home of abuse and poverty. Desperate, he saw his life with no hope for the future. If not for the example of courage from his mother and the leadership of a few good friends, Juan would not be alive today. Today Juan is a husband, a father, a leader and a successful businessman who is dedicated to teaching others how to succeed in life.
He established a testimony in Jacob and appointed a law in Israel, which he commanded our fathers to teach to their children, that the next generation might know them, the children yet unborn, and arise and tell them to their children, so that they should set their hope in God
