God’s kindness shines through our brokenness. Despite our sin, His mercy freely gives us a rescue plan in Jesus, restoring our relationship by grace.
Listen + Watch the Message
(new sermons published every Monday)
Part of God’s character is defined by kindness—His goodness and mercy in action. By choosing the single forbidden tree over God’s abundant provision, Adam and Eve succumbed to the enemy’s deception, trading divine good for a sinful nature and breaking their spiritual connection with God despite being sovereignly gifted with the freedom of choice. Though they were deceived and fell into sin, God’s grace provided a rescue plan. Through Jesus’s sacrifice, we are forgiven, justified, and reconciled by faith, not works. This free gift replaces our sinful nature with a new spirit, restoring our relationship with God. By strengthening ourselves through meditation on God’s free gift, we can effectively manage our households and disciple others, faithfully stewarding His blessings to fill our cities with Jesus for His glory.

Discussion Questions
- Consider the kindness of God. Share how His kindness towards you has been formational in your life.
- Where is your gaze fixed? Are you looking at your own version of what is “good,” or are you looking at the divine good God has already provided?
- When did you first realize the sheer weight and privilege of the sovereignty God gave you to make your own choices?
- How do you practically choose life every day? What does that rhythm look like for you?
