Sermon Summary

Some Churches ask people to get involved in their project in fulfilling their goals, but we are asking you to get involved at Grace so that we can equip you to discover your call and live out your destiny in God’s great story. In this final installment of our Vision and Mission series, we are talking about the Biblical tipping point seen throughout history that has renewed cities. It only takes a few willing to partner with God in seeing nations influenced and generations brought to a relationship with God. How will you live your calling in your city, because they are waiting for you to lead them? Let’s partner together to see at least 10 cities renewed for the glory of God!

Discussion Questions

• How many people does it take to see a city renewed? What’s the tipping point? (Genesis 18:26-33)
• As you see how God shifted a nation for generations, why do you think He chose this list of names? (Moses, Esther, Abraham, Joseph, Daniel, David…)
• Where are you in living out the mission statement?
  • Are you being empowered?
  • Are you willing? 
  • Are you coming fully alive? 
  • Are you renewing your city?
• Why is it crucial for those people that God used to have revelations of His character and to know their identity? (Gideon and Abraham)

• Are you using your gift to serve others?
• What is God asking you to do, and how might you be involved in seeing at least 10 cities renewed?

Respond Throughout the Week

Pray – Throughout your week, dedicate time to listening to and speaking with the Lord.	Read – Feed your soul with God’s Word daily. Review the scriptures used in the sermon. There is a link to a Bible reading guide on our website.
Journal – Write a summary of what you’re hearing from God every day. Capture things you’re hearing from Him.	Communion – If Jesus is your savior, consider taking the elements, at home, with your family, or Group. There is a communion guide on our website.
Salvation – Want to give your life to Jesus? Tell someone in your family or your Group.	Worship – Take time to thank God for who He is. Before asking or seeking, just be grateful, and tell your soul that it’s time to bless the Lord.
Intercede – Who is someone in your city who needs prayer this week? Also consider inviting someone to pray for you.	Give – Giving is an expression of the heart, not just your budget, by trusting God with your finances. For ways to give, go to https://gracechurchsp.org/give/.
