In John 14:15, Jesus said “If you love me, you will keep My commandments.” In our pursuit to love God by obeying His commands, we practice tithing at Grace Church. The word “tithe” means “tenth” and God asks us to bring the first tenth of all of our income into His House (The Church) (Malachi 3:10-12, Proverbs 3:9-10, Matthew 23:23). Not only are we blessed when we obey God, but others are blessed through our obedience resulting in the expansion of God’s Kingdom here on the earth.
