Seek Week: Pursuing God’s Presence

During Seek Week, we fast, pray, and SEEK GOD to revive our hearts, awaken His Church, and bring renewal to our city.

Listen + Watch the Message
(new sermons published every Monday)

We exist to Fill the City with Jesus.

We empower the willing to come fully alive in God’s presence for the renewal of our cities.

Imagine a group of people in an authentic community, loving each other honestly, covering each other’s sins with forgiveness, prayer, confession, and encouragement, and serving and supporting each other genuinely. It’s in spaces like these where we begin to see the supernatural work of God within our relationships.

Use this guide with your community, in concert with the Field Journal, as you Strengthen Yourself in the Lord, Manage Your Household, and Fill the City with Jesus.

Strengthen Yourself in the Lord

Sermon Summary

WE CANNOT OUTSOURCE THE FUTURE OF OUR CITY! We are watching a generation face unprecedented darkness, and the Church cannot afford to remain complacent. We cannot outsource the spiritual future of our city to programs, elections, schools, or someone else’s prayers. The responsibility is ours. We don’t need another strategy to manage the darkness. We need the presence of God. We need the fire of God. We need revival. “Seek and deeply long for His face and His presence continually.” — Psalm 105:4 (AMP) Have we grown so comfortable with the condition of our world that we can live without the very thing our city desperately needs? Jesus came to baptize His people with the Holy Spirit and fire. We were not called to remain neutral while darkness presses in on our families, our children, and our communities. We cannot manufacture revival, but we can seek the God who sends it. During Seek Week, we stop, fast, pray, and SEEK GOD for revival in our hearts for the renewal of our city. We are asking God to awaken His Church, us, again. “Would you not revive us again…”
