Sermon Summary | The Gift and Call of Oneness
Oneness is God’s design for marriage, mirroring Christ’s love for the Church. By inviting Jesus in, isolation turns to connection and dry seasons to abundance. Through daily choices to “leave and cleave,” couples reflect the Gospel, allowing the Holy Spirit to breathe life into their union. Whether you’re married, single, widowed, or divorced—oneness is God’s desire for you.

Discussion Questions
- Identify one barrier to oneness in your life. What areas of your life can you invite Jesus into?
- Read 2 Corinthians 5:17. What are some ways that you can practically embrace your new identity in Christ?
- Take a look at your community block. Compare it to the Rat Pack illustration. Are you isolated or do you have connection, community, and joy that comes from other believers that pour into you–walk with and support you–and that you pour into?
- In Matthew 20:28 Jesus tells us that He came to serve not be served. What areas of your life are you emulating Christ by serving and where can you grow?
- Read Ezekiel 37:1-14 and Galatians 5:22-23. What areas in your life are dead like the dry bones and need you to invite the Holy Spirit into in order to bring fruit and new life?
