Youth Ministry: The Uprising

theuprisingyouth-logo Who —The Uprising youth group is for students in the 6th through 12th grade. These grades are divided into two different services:

  • Middle school
  • High school 

When —The Uprising meets every Sunday night from 5pm to 8pm:

  • At 5pm:
    • The middle school service starts at 5pm, and the high school small groups meet from 5-6pm.
  • 6 to 6:45 pm:
    • The game room, which contains two Wii’s, several Xbox 360’s, two ping pong tables, a pool table, and more, is open from 6 to 6:45pm.
  • At 6:45pm:
    • The middle school small groups meet from 6:45-8pm, and the high school service starts at 6:45pm.

Where —All services and small groups are held at Grace Church, predominantly in the youth center. 

What — What is "the Uprising"?

The Uprising is the youth ministry of Grace Church that exists to push, develop, and expose teens to the awesome power and person of Jesus Christ. We strive to develop teens that will stand for God in a culture that is hostile to a biblical worldview. We seek to prepare our youth for whatever their future may hold by encouraging them to build a personal relationship with God, a love for His word, and develop personal purity, integrity, and relational skills.

Our services consist of worship and a relevant message that our youth can apply to their everyday lives to help them live out their faith. Worship is led by our very own youth worship band. We have free time in between services for the youth to hang out, play games, get food, and socialize. It is our desire to create a strong community of believers that extends beyond the sanctuary walls.

We also have small groups for middle school and high school students. We believe that small groups are the key for building relationships, discipleship, and mentoring. We encourage all of our youth to be involved in one of our small groups.

  • The high school small groups meet from 5-6pm (during the middle school service)
  • The middle school small groups meet from 6:45-8pm (during the high school service)
