Evangelism

Our evangelism ministry equips people to share their faith effectively and confidently. Winning the lost is one of the primary reasons we exist, and we want every one of our members to be involved. We don't believe that evangelism is a separate ministry, but rather that evangelism should be incorporated into every ministry. Because of our belief, we ask each of our Life Groups to complete an evangelism project each semester to ensure that we keep evangelism as a top priority.

We have a three-fold approach to outreach here in our city. First, we encourage every one of our members to be involved in witnessing to those in their sphere of influence, or better put, the people they “do life” with. This includes their family, friends, neighbors, co-workers, waiters, bank tellers, etc. We offer invite cards to make it easy to invite people to church. We also challenge our church to demonstrate the love of God in self-sacrificing ways to those around them. We believe that this kind of lifestyle will attract unbelievers to the gospel, long before we even open our mouths.

Second, we have church-wide evangelism projects. This includes mailing out the Jesus Video to our whole county, giving away free water at community events, and distributing free light bulbs to thousands of homes in Moore County. We want to do whatever it takes to demonstrate God's love to our community.

Third, we offer a course called Evangelism Explosion that equips our members in how to share the gospel with confidence. It's not enough to just live the gospel. The bible makes it clear that someone has to actually share the good news. Evangelism Explosion is a 13-week class that will teach you how to share the gospel. We offer it throughout the year and our heart is that every member of Grace would go through this vital ministry.
