Baptism at Grace
Baptism is a public declaration, by immersion in water, of a person's decision to become a follower of Christ. The Bible clearly teaches us that baptism is the first step of obedience after making a commitment to God. It allows a believer to communicate to the world their heart-felt commitment to Jesus Christ.
We understand that people often have questions regarding baptism:
- "Why should I be baptized?"
- "I've already been baptized; do I have to do it again?"
- "Does it matter if you are sprinkled or dunked?"
You can learn more about baptism and what scripture has to say about it by attending a baptism orientation. In fact, attending a baptism orientation is required before being baptized at Grace Church. To learn more, to request baptism, and to enroll in a baptism orientation, visit the Welcome Center.
For your convenience, you can download the Baptism Application here (pdf form), complete it, and give it to someone at the Welcome Center or at the Church Administrative Office.
