Children's Ministry

Our Services:
We meet at 8:00 am and 10:00 am and 12:00 pm every Sunday while the parents are in "big church". We have groups for all ages, from newborns up to age 12.

Nursery (ages 0 – 36 months):
Our primary concern for nursery age children is safety!!
Nursery activities include play time, snack time, and song or story time. We want to put your mind at ease so that you can enjoy the service and know that your child is in good hands.

The nurseries are organized into age appropriate classes. Each nursery is staffed with trained caregivers who insure that all nursery policies are enforced. Very strict and specific policies are in place to make sure that all of the babies stay safe and healthy. The same staff member is in the nursery each Sunday so that the children get used to them, which allows for easier transitions when your child arrives.

3-5 Year Olds:
Your 3-5 year old will have a great time in this energetic, interactive class. Each week the children worship together with sing-along videos. We also make their Bible lesson come alive with creative crafts and coloring pages. The lesson also includes skits, puppets, and much more. Snacks are provided.

6-12 Year olds:

Your older children will have a blast in this larger Children's Church setting.
We play fun hands on games, give out prizes, and have memorable object lessons.
We take up an offering each week and partake of communion together once a month.
We want to challenge our older children by teaching them the truths of God's word and how to apply it to their daily lives.
We have relevant lessons and a powerful time of praise and worship each week.
Our goal is to help your child live out their faith, not just memorize scriptures.

Details
We ask that parents themselves check-in their child each week. This is for the safety of your children. Upon check-in, your child will receive a number and you will be given a security card with the matching number. If at any time we need to call you during the service, we will flash that number on our paging system. Children will only be released to their parent when they come back and present the security card.

If your child has been sick within the past 48 hours, we ask that they not participate in the service that week. We don't want to spread the illness to other children.

Our Mission
Our mission is to glorify God by leading the children under out care into a meaningful and lasting relationship with Jesus Christ, and equipping them to change the world. We do this by focusing our ministry around 8 principles that will build World C.H.A.N.G.E.R.S. —

Covering - Teaching our children how to pray and covering them in weekly prayer
Heart of God - Demonstrating God's heart and character to the children through our words, actions, and lifestyles
Atmosphere - Creating an atmosphere of love, acceptance, safety, and FUN
New destiny - Teaching children the importance of their God given destiny and their place in God's kingdom
Growth - Helping children to grow in their understanding of God's word and how to apply it through exciting, well- planned lessons
Evangelize - Teaching our children the importance of sharing their faith and having a heart to fulfill the “great commission” by winning the lost
Relationships - Developing personal relationships with the children and showing them the love of God in a practical way
Special gifts - Helping our children to discover their spiritual gifts and providing chances for them to be used

Everything that we do in our ministry is based on demonstrating and teaching these God given principles to our children. Download our Children's Ministry Goals (as a PDF document). Our Beliefs About Children:

We believe that each child is a gift from God
We believe each child has a God given destiny
We believe that each child is special and has been given special gifts by God to help others.
We believe that our children can know God now, not just ten years from now.
We believe that God wants to use our children to do great things for Him today.
We consider it an honor to take part in training up the next generation of leaders.
We take very seriously the fact that you have entrusted us to invest in your child's life.
Our heart is to help your child grow in their relationship with our Savior.
